The system monitor that explains itself.

AROK watches your Windows PC, detects anomalies deterministically, and uses a local AI to narrate what's happening in plain English — 100% on your machine. No cloud, no telemetry, no account.

01
Why

Every monitor shows you a CPU line.

Almost none of them tell you what it means. AROK splits the job in two — maths finds the signal, language explains it — and detection is never delegated to the model.

001

It explains, it doesn't just graph

A local model turns deterministic findings into a sentence you can act on: "Chrome has been climbing for 20 minutes and is now using 40% CPU — unusual for this time of day." Because detection happens before the model sees anything, the finding is exact. The AI only narrates.

002

100% local and private

Metrics, history and AI inference all stay on your machine, and it works fully offline. No account, no telemetry, no ads, nothing phoning home on a schedule you don't control.

003

Free — for real

Funded only by optional, clearly-disclosed Amazon affiliate links in the Hardware Upgrades tab. If you never open that tab, AROK costs nothing and sells nothing. There is no upgrade prompt, because there is nothing to upgrade to.

02
Surfaces

Nine tabs. One story about your PC.

Each tab answers a different question, and every one can hand its findings to the narrator.

01Dashboard

System overview — CPU, memory, disk, processes and network throughput at a glance, with the AI Pulse summary alongside.

02Processes

What's running, what it's costing you, and which process caused the spike you just saw.

03Network

A live world map of every external connection, resolved geographically and scored by transparent heuristics.

04Services

Windows services, their state, and what changed since you last looked.

05Cleanup

Temp-file clearing, a conservative registry cleaner, and a checksum-verified Tron launcher.

06Analytics

Resource trends with spike-cause markers. Click a marker to pin the moment and drill into the snapshot behind it.

07AI Insights

Anomaly findings, a plain-English story of your system, and a chat panel wired to your local model.

08Upgrades

Diagnosis-led hardware recommendations from your own telemetry, matched to your socket and memory generation.

09Settings

Model selection, thresholds, licensing and the demo-mode switch.

+ Global — Gaming mode

Auto-detects when you're playing and steps out of the way. Reachable from every tab, not buried in settings.

In detail

Findings you can open up.

A live world map of your network

Network
  • Every external connection resolved geographically, animated, and scored with transparent, deterministic heuristics.
  • Click Investigate on any endpoint to see exactly why it was flagged — or mark it safe and teach the baseline.

Analytics with spike causes

Analytics
  • Resource-trend graphs annotated with spike-cause markers.
  • Click a marker to pin that moment and drill into the per-process snapshot that caused it.

AI Insights & chat

AI Insights
  • Anomaly findings, a plain-English story of your system, and one-click optimisation recommendations.
  • A chat panel wired straight to your local model — ask it about your own machine.

SMART sensor watch

Dashboard · Upgrades
  • Drive health, wear levels and temperatures feed both alerting and upgrade advice.
  • A failing disk tells you to back up before it dies, not after.

Safe, guided cleanup

Cleanup
  • Temp-file cleaner, plus a conservative registry cleaner that takes a restore point and a .reg backup first.
  • Checksum-verified Tron launcher for the heavier jobs.

Upgrade Advisor

Upgrades
  • Recommendations led by diagnosis from your own telemetry — matched to your CPU socket and memory generation, so nothing incompatible is suggested.
  • Affiliate-funded and FTC-disclosed. This tab is the entire business model.
04
The model

Real local AI. Your choice of model.

Pick from a curated menu of six open-source GGUFs — Qwen 2.5 1.5B through Mistral 7B, each listed with parameter count and download size — or point AROK at a GGUF already on your disk. After download, narration and chat run entirely offline.

01

Local model

Private, offline, free. Downloaded once, then it never touches the network again. This is the default and the recommendation.

02

Anthropic Cloud

Optional. Bring your own API key if you want a larger model doing the narration. Off unless you explicitly turn it on.

03

Deterministic templates

No AI configured at all? Narration falls back to written templates and the app works exactly as before. Detection never depended on the model in the first place.

05
Security

A monitor with this much access had better be careful.

BindingThe server binds to 127.0.0.1 only. Nothing is exposed to your network — not to your router, not to the machine next to you.
RebindingLocalhost Host and Origin checks block DNS rebinding; per-session tokens block CSRF from malicious pages open in another tab.
Demo modeSimulates control actions — kill process, block IP, stop service — instead of executing them. Look around safely before handing it real control.
LicensingOffline Ed25519. No activation server to call, and no crippled tier.
SourceMIT. Audit every line yourself rather than taking the above on faith.

Questions

Answered plainly.

Yes. AROK is open source under MIT with no paid tiers, no ads and no telemetry. It's funded only by optional, clearly-disclosed Amazon affiliate links inside the Hardware Upgrades tab. If you never open that tab, AROK costs nothing and sells nothing.

No. Detection, history and local-AI narration all run offline. The internet is only used if you choose to download a model, refresh upgrade pricing, or enable optional cloud narration with your own API key.

Everything stays on your machine: metrics, history and AI inference. The server binds to localhost only, and there is no account and no telemetry of any kind. Nothing about your machine is transmitted anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.

Windows 10 and 11. Grab the installer from GitHub Releases and run it — updates download quietly in the background and apply with one click.
